Pre-IB, MYP5, and IB diploma (at least 6 IB subjects, TOK, EE, and CAS) students are eligible to participate in the International Douglas-Young Tournament (DYT).

A school must first be registered before students from that school can register.

Students can only pick ONE subject. A student can choose to specialise in a subject they not study in the IB diploma, although this is not recommended.

This year, DYT is offering seven subjects: economics, business management, history, biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. The seven subjects are split into three categories: humanities, sciences, and mathematics. Participants will only compete with others in the same category as them so humanities participants will only compete with other humanities participants and so on.
