The World’s First Tournament For IB and Pre-IB Students
The first round of the International Douglas-Young Tournament (DYT) aims to prove a student’s understanding of their chosen subject and select a talented pool of participants for the second round.
The second and final round of the International Douglas-Young Tournament aims to prove a student’s ability to explain their chosen subject in a real-world context.

The International Douglas-Young Tournament (DYT) is designed to be a low-cost, accessible, and simple way for all IB schools to connect to celebrate their students’ academic success. Every school that enters is guaranteed five spots in the final round, which will be held in Denmark.
Students are the main focus of the International Douglas-Young Tournament (DYT). They can expect to build lasting relationships with other students around the world and showcase their academic skills. Students can join the process in one of two ways: as a participant or as their school’s DYT student ambassador.
Note: We are not affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Organisation. We simply restrict our competition to IB DP students.
